Through this trip to the Philippines, I learnt to cherish all that I have and use what I have to greatly experience and glorify God. Through all the numerous interactions and experiences spent with the locals, I’ve grown a lot both physically and spiritually. Starting from travelling like the locals to living and sleeping like them, all these encounters helped me to realise how lucky I was and how grateful I should be. I realised through this trip that happiness isn’t bought with money but rather treasuring the things that you have and love the most. From my encounters with the locals, their joy and happiness of living a simple life additional to being part of this big family of God, made me treasure this family more. I learnt many new and exciting skills on this trip from both the locals and other brothers & sisters on this trip, making this an enjoyable and memorable journey, one that I will never forget.
