With the zero interest loan offered by Living Enhancement Program, some residents open a small store, some sell groceries, and others raise pigs. Their family income has increased, and we were pleased to see their smile, especially because we knew their struggles in the past.
Facing many challenges such as the seniors’ health issue, the government’s requirements, and receiving no suitable referral, we discontinued the senior service after sending the last senior to another elderly center in December 2016. We are planning other community services using the same location.
