2015 School Project in Yangon, Myanmar

August 30, 2015

70,000 residents are living in the temporary slum area in Dagon Seikan, Yangon. They live a simple life, coming from the village to the big city to find a job and hope. Their houses are shabby. Whenever there’s rainfall, they may suffer from flooding and leaking. Light and Love Home has purchased a piece of land, and plans to build a primary school in this township. During school holidays, the premises can be used as a recreation centre and church meeting. The quality of public schools is below standard, and each class may have as many as 80 students. Almost all students require after school tutoring if it is affordable. Also, schools may charge various fees, making the poor families even harder to afford it. Please support our school project. Help the students to enjoy the school life and grow well spiritually and physically.
